In every correction, there's a choice—tear down or build up. As dance educators, our words matter. Sarcasm, harsh tones, or ignoring a student can damage confidence as much as direct criticism. Let’s choose words that guide with kindness. Instead of "you're doing it wrong," try "let’s adjust this together." Dance grows best in a space where praise and correction coexist.
